The Light Bee X is the bike that made electric off-road properly addictive. For 2026, SURRON has not just turned up the power: it has given the lightweight platform the electronic control and frame rigidity that make hard riding feel less intimidating. This is a compact electric dirt bike that lets an experienced rider attack a trail and lets a developing rider build genuine technique instead of merely hanging on.

- 72V 35Ah lithium battery — claimed range up to 75km at a steady 40km/h; 20–80% charge in approximately 2.15 hours

- 59kg curb weight with a forged-aluminium double-cradle frame: easy to pick up, place precisely and transport

Control, not just chaos
The standout 2026 upgrade is SWC — SURRON Wheelie Control. An IMU-based system monitors front-wheel lift, with two selectable assistance levels so riders can learn throttle control with a safety net or ride more aggressively with a higher intervention threshold. Add five-level regenerative braking, refined throttle response and brake-priority cut-off, and the Light Bee X feels considerably more composed than a bare-bones mini e-moto.
A bike that is connected as well as quick
Its CAN-bus / T-Box architecture supports connected diagnostics, vehicle settings and OTA updates on applicable supplied versions. In plain English: this is a factory platform with room to evolve, rather than a disposable toy built around one battery and a throttle.
